Lock In League is operated by Lock In League.
This policy is intended to publicly explain our privacy practices and should be read together with in-app disclosures, permission prompts, and store listing disclosures where applicable.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Email address
- Username, handle, or display name
- Profile selections such as avatar or identity-style customization
- Account-related information provided during sign-up, sign-in, support, or profile updates
- Session-related details, invite details, or challenge details you choose to input into the Service
- Messages, questions, or feedback you send to us
Information generated through use of the Service
- Session records, including duration, timestamps, mode, completion status, interruptions, and results
- Progress data, including points, streaks, leagues, rank movement, promotions, demotions, and leaderboard position
- Social and competitive interaction data, including friend relationships, invitations, challenge participation, and related activity
- Notification preferences, reminder settings, and similar feature controls
Technical and device information
- Device type, operating system, app version, and similar technical information needed to operate and secure the Service
- Push notification token or similar messaging identifier if you enable notifications
- Basic integrity, security, diagnostic, and troubleshooting information reasonably necessary to maintain the Service
Information from third parties
If you sign in using a supported identity provider, we may receive limited account information made available by that provider, such as your email address, relay address, or account identifier, subject to that provider's settings and permissions.

Lock In League is not built around data resale or ad-tracking profiles.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage accounts
- Operate the core Lock In League experience
- Maintain sessions, rankings, streaks, leagues, leaderboard features, and competitive state
- Support social and competitive features, including invitations and challenges where available
- Send reminders, progress alerts, rank-related prompts, and service notifications if you grant notification permission
- Respond to support requests and account-related communications
- Protect the security, integrity, reliability, and performance of the Service
- Detect abuse, fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, or violations of our rules
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, internal controls, and platform requirements
Competitive and Social Visibility
Lock In League includes competitive and social features. Depending on the features you use, some information may be visible to other users within the app.
- Your handle or display name
- Your avatar or profile styling
- Your rank, league, streak, or leaderboard position
- Limited challenge, invite, or competitive activity information relevant to those in-app features
We limit visibility to what is reasonably necessary to deliver those systems.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, we may use notification-related identifiers and your permission status to send reminders, progress-related alerts, rank-related prompts, and service notifications.
You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the Service, preserve account functionality and competitive progress, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect against abuse, fraud, or misuse.
If you request deletion of your account or personal data, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize your information, except where retention is required or permitted by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures may include secure cloud infrastructure, authenticated access controls, encryption in transit, backend authorization controls, and other protections appropriate to the nature of the Service.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including countries where our service providers operate.
By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to applicable legal safeguards where required.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
You may also control certain permissions directly through your device settings, including notification permissions.

Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party services, including Firebase and Apple platform services. Those services may process information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date on this page.
Your continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means the updated Privacy Policy applies, subject to applicable law.
